Today we took McKenzie to the zoo in D.C. She has been to Grant's Farm in St. Louis and Animal Kingdom in Florida, but this is the first "zoo" she has been to. She loved it of course and did all her animal sounds... lion, elephant, monkey, and snake (she also knows dog and cat). Here are a few pictures. Here she is waiting to see the panda.
Here is the baby panda Tai-Shaun. He walked right by her twice!
And here is a monkey (orangutan). We saw a lot of other animals too, but from a little further away. I got a lot of great shots on the video recorder though and McKenzie loves watching that!
