Finally - I can get back to blogging and puting pictures on my computer! It's been a long time! I put Photoshop Elements 5 on my computer today and I am excited to learn all the things I can do with it!
These are some pictures from our trip to New Mexico to visit Mike while he is there for job training. Myself, McKenzie, Mike's parents (Liz and Mike), and his Uncle Mark went out for almost a week. We haven't seen him since he left at the beginning of June. He has just under 7 more weeks there, then he will be able to come home!
Here are McKenzie and Uncle Mark on the first plane (we had to take 2 each way - BWI to Dallas, TX then to Roswell, NM). McKenzie actually read the "Safety Instructions" pamphlet and watched the flight attendant demonstrate on each flight (she was probably the only person!) - too bad it was upside down.
McKenzie had a special pink cowboy hat, cowboy boots, and a new "cowgirl" outfit to wear to see her daddy. She was too cute! We were all very excited to see each other after almost 3 months!
She loves her daddy and gave him lots of snuggles.

McKenzie was such a "Daddy's Girl" while we were there! She wanted to be with him all the time. She laid on his chest to fall asleep.
We visited the Lincoln County Courthouse where Billy the Kid escaped. The town is pretty much exactly like it was then, in 1881. It was neat to see what it was like that long ago and know that not much has changed in 130 years, not like around here!
